Logging in to Photo-Genesis: A Graphic HOWTO
By: Gene Bradford
There have been questions concerning the login process recently so here's another Graphic HOWTO on just that topic.
Step #1, Illustration #1:
On the opening screen of the Gallery itself, you will see all of the thumbs for each of our photographer's galleries. In the top right corner of this screen you will see the word "Login". Clicking on this word will take you to the login screen itself.
Step #2, Illustration #2:
Click in the "Username" box and type in the username you received in the email notifying you that you'd been accepted on P-G. (In this case, I entered my own username: geneb19. Keep in mind that all entries are case sensitive. They must be typed exactly as they are in the email.
Step #3, Illustration #3:
After entering your username, you now must enter the password sent to you. Once again, the password is also case sensitive and must be entered exactly as it is in the email.
Step #4, Illustration #4:
Now all that remains is to click on the "Login" button and you're done!
Step #5, Illustration #5:
You should now be back at the main gallery page. You can tell if you're logged in by looking in the top right corner and you'll now see more options on the line which contained "Login".
Step #6, Illustration #6:
On occassion after successfully logging in you will remain at the login page. A simple method of determining your login status is to look at the bottom right corner of the page. If you see "display mode:" with your username on this line, then you're logged in. Just go to the top of the page, on the left side and click on the words "Photo-Genesis Gallery" and it will take you to the main gallery page.
If you're still having problems, contact any of the admin and we'll be more than happy to trouble-shoot your problem!
