I always had a passion for communication through images. I guess it runs in the family as my father is a painter and my brother is in the comic-book industry.

Well, I've always liked to take pictures since I was a child but I never owned a real camera until a few months ago. Never took photography seriously by the way, because I felt (and I still feel) like a rookie. But now, recently, something has changed and photography has become my main interest. I bought a nice camera, some decent lenses, a good photography book and I started my experiments.

What impresses me the most is that it’s a continuous learning process.

Photography for me is both a hobbie and a way to canalize my emotions into a record of some sort. I like people to look at my images and to make comments. I learn from them, I share with them!

Postprocessing is just a half of the job: in my opinion every digital image requires a certain amount of tweaking to work. I shoot digital so I always manipulate my pics somewhat (sometimes very little and sometimes very much!).
